SammyKit ("the app") is a macOS menubar utility developed by Seriousammy. This privacy policy explains what data the app handles and how.
Data We Collect
We collect no personal data.
SammyKit does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personally identifiable information. The app has no analytics, no advertising, and makes no network requests of any kind.
Data Stored Locally on Your Device
SammyKit stores the following data exclusively on your Mac, inside the app's sandboxed Application Support folder:
- Scratchpad content — text you write in the Scratch tab
- Task list — tasks and their completion history from the Tasks tab
This data never leaves your device. It is not synced to any server or third-party service. You can delete it at any time by removing the app.
Permissions
SammyKit requests the following sandbox permissions:
- User-selected file access (read/write) — used only when you choose to export your task history via the save panel. The app only accesses the file location you explicitly choose.
No other permissions are requested.
Third Parties
SammyKit does not integrate any third-party SDKs, advertising networks, analytics services, or tracking frameworks.
Children's Privacy
SammyKit does not collect any data from any users, including children under 13.
